Saily: plans, prices and terms
Saily sells country, regional and cruise eSIMs through its app and website. Country pages list fixed-data plans (1 to 20 GB) and unlimited plans from 5 to 30 days, and its help centre explains how the daily full-speed allowance on unlimited plans works.
Saily
This is a review of published plans and terms, not a hands-on test. Prices checked 22 Oct 2026.
Where it does well
- Explains in its help centre how the daily high-speed allowance on unlimited plans works.
- Fixed-data plans from 1 GB, so light users don't pay for unlimited.
- Same USD prices shown to US and Indian visitors when we checked.
Limitations
- Country pages rarely name the networks (Japan and China are the exceptions we found).
- The daily allowance behind "unlimited" differs by plan: 5 GB a day on most, 3 GB on some Mexico plans.
- Most fixed-data plans last 30 days; only the 1 GB plan has a 7-day option, so short trips pay for days they don't use.
- Country pages don't say which plans can use 5G.
What Saily documents
- Fixed data
- A fixed-data plan is one total for the whole validity period, not a daily amount. Unused data expires with the plan. source
- Unlimited data
- Each day you get a high-speed allowance, then about 1 Mbps for the rest of that day. The allowance resets at midnight in the eSIM's local time. source
- Hotspot
- Hotspot sharing works and uses your plan's data. Saily's fair use policy applies. source
- Top-ups
- Add more data to an eSIM in the Saily app by buying another plan for the same destination. source
- Activation
- Plans activate automatically when you arrive, or 180 days after purchase if you haven't used them. source
- Calls and texts
- Data plans only. Saily sells a US phone number for calls and texts separately in its app. source
