Jetpac: plans, prices and terms
Jetpac sells country eSIMs through its app and website. Each country page lists fixed-data packs from 1 to 50 GB and unlimited packs from 1 to 30 days, and its FAQ explains how the daily high-speed allowance on unlimited packs works.

Where it does well
- Hotspot is allowed with no data cap, including on unlimited packs.
- Packs of 3 GB and above keep WhatsApp, Uber, Grab and Google Maps working after the data runs out.
- A wide range of pack sizes: 1 to 50 GB and unlimited from 1 to 30 days, depending on the destination.
Limitations
- Country pages don't name the networks you connect to or say which packs can use 5G.
- Pack prices aren't always in step with size: in Japan the 30 GB pack costs less than the 20 GB one.
- Each pack shows a higher crossed-out price next to the price you pay; we compare only the price you pay.
- Calls need a separate voice pack, and texts aren't available.
What Jetpac documents
- Fixed data
- A fixed-data pack is one total for its validity period. Packs of 3 GB and above keep free WhatsApp chat, Uber, Grab and Google Maps navigation working after the data runs out. source
- Unlimited data
- The first 3 GB every 24 hours are at standard network speeds; after that, speed drops to up to 1 Mbps until the allowance refreshes in the next 24-hour cycle. source
- Hotspot
- Hotspot and tethering are allowed on supported devices, with no data cap. source
- Calls and texts
- Data only, no SMS. Calls to 50+ countries are sold separately as voice packs in the Jetpac app (from $1.99 for 5 minutes). source
- Activation
- Install when you buy and the pack activates automatically within minutes of arrival. A pack you haven't activated stays in your account for 3 months from purchase. source
- Top-ups
- Check your data balance and top up in the Jetpac Global app. source
